Good morning. Happy Saturday. I hope you’re going to get out and enjoy our beautiful Scottsdale whether which will reach the low 80s today. With such phenomenal whether there are many things to do in Scottsdale. Foremost, only because it is nearing its and of the season, I recommend you take in a spring training baseball game in Scottsdale or one of the many other towns such as Mesa, Peoria and Surprise Arizona that host Maj. league baseball spring training games and activities.
The Arizona Aloha Festival just ended or you could experience the rich cultures of the South Pacific islands with performances, delicious cuisine and activities and shopping for the whole family. You might have even learned how to hula dance.
This week, I recommend you see the Modern Masters Series at the Orpheum theater, March 25 through March 27. This is the Arizona ballet the Valley’s premier dance company; this is not your traditional ballet in that it is a very modern in inventive. Fun for your parents and exciting for your children. Another great way to spend a beautiful Saturday in Scottsdale is the Celebration of Fine Art which runs through March 27. In April, I recommend you go to the food and wine celebration known as ‘Forks and Corks‘. Immerse yourself in the valleys premier restaurants, resorts and fine lines. If you are a car buff, do not miss the four day, 1000 mile celebration of driving through scenic Arizona. The Copperstone 1000 field of dreams cruise begins at Tempe Diablo Stadium on April 10 led by vintage cars showcase, public viewing and auctions supported by the Barrett – Jackson and the Russo and Steele car auction companies. On April 16, more than 30,000 participants get out to support Pat Tillman foundation. Pat Tillman, a former Arizona State and Arizona Cardinal football star who died while serving as an Army Ranger in Afghanistan will run at 4.2 miles, or walk, or ride, or push rollers in order to support and raise money for the nation’s military scholars program.
